No creative title for this one...Well, I thought about saying, "It's blaming outside" but then I was like ehh, lets just get into this post!
I have been switching up some of my products with my normal make up routine. I usually use Benefit Hoola bronzer, which I love, to contour my face, but I recently went back to using Bahama Mama by the Balm.
I have used this product before and I don't know why I switched. Probably just to get something different in my life. This is an amazing product for contouring! The color is a rich brown color with out much read so it gives you a deep contour. This is suuuupppeeerrrr pigmented so a little goes a long way. I noticed over the past few weeks since I started using it again, my face looks like I just came back from a tropical island with an amazing tan (hence the Bahama Mama Name!). The structure of my face after I contour with this color is georg too!
This brand tends to be on Hautelook a lot, and that is where I first purchased products. I heard a lot of talk about them via Youtube and I finally tired Bahama Mama and Mary Lou-Manizer, a beautiful high lighter.
Mary-Lou Manizer is a shimmery champagne color. If I am not using this on my cheekbones, then I put this right under my brow bone. It's the perfect hint of color that catches the light and keeps your face glowing.
I really love these two products. I have branched out to purchase more items, but I have their liquid liner, Swing, on my list and a bunch of their eye shadows. They have really great pallets.
I love their packaging too! It's so cute.
Check out their sale this friday on Hautelook! Trust me, I will remind you on Thursday!!!!!

Bye Bye Tired Eyes!
Today I was looking at myself in the mirror after I got all ready. My mom bought me a new maxi skirt that I am just obsessed with! It's orange, red and black aztec print! I wore it to work today with a simple black tank. Even though I couldn't stop looking at how awesome this skirt is, i noticed that my face looked nice and bright, but yet I did my make up in like 10 mins. today!
What gives you ask?! Well I have been using a new concealer combination and it's totally doing the trick and making me look brighter and more awake!
I have been using NYX HD concealer in CW01 and CW04. I tried CW01 on its own and it was just too pale, then the next two colors had too much pink in them. Even though I usually like to put a warmer color under my eyes, this just looked funny on my skin. Well, I had CW04 in my make up drawer, so I deiced to put that on first and then put the CW01 on top of it and then I blended them all out with my new pointed kabuki brush from Bh Cosmetics' 10 pc sculpt and blend set. It's the perfect color for me!!! It's light enough to give a great highlighting effect, but the coverage of the concealer is really great so it makes my skin look extra flawless! the best part is, this concealer is only $5, but I usually end up buying them at Ulta for buy one get one 50% off or on sale for about $3 each!
I would compare these concealers to the Make Up Forever HD concealer which is around $29 for one! They are a liquid product and in my opinion that medium is easiest to blend. I don't seem to see any caking or separation through out the day. Also, these concealers are going to photograph well since they are HD! There won't be any crazy flash back with these bad boys, so highlight away!!
I have a darker color, one about 4 shades darker then my skin tone. This weekend I am going to test that out for contouring and see how it all looks! I am sure it will b amazing!
Let me know if you try these products and what you think about them!
Have a great day, beauty queens!

Bh Cosmetics Bronze and Glow Steal
Last night I cam across a deal that Bh Cosmetics is doing. Bh is running a Christmas in July deal right now and you can get a bunch of different packages for 50% off. I just bought the Bronze and Glow Steal deal! It is their powdered highlight/contour and blush ballet along with their 10 piece sculpt and blend brush set.
These brushes are really great when using creams and liquids since they are a synthetic line of brushes. The tapered kabuki brush in this set is amazing for applying concealer and the flat top kabuki is awesome for blending out foundation or getting that perfect contour and highlight blend with creams!
I actually already have a set of these brushes, but this is such a steal of a deal that I bought another set, plus you get the contouring pallet for free! Which by the way has a nice yellow shade in in, perfect for setting your highlight under your eyes! The color is similar to the Ben Nye banana Powder. This kit is a great starter kit for anyone looking to have good quality brushes and a all in one pallet for contouring!
You should hurry and check it out because the offer is only for a limited time and it is over 50% sold out. They also have free shipping on orders $50 or more, so take a look on other products through out the site!
I might have one more post about a sale tomorrow and then I promise I will get back to technique and product reviews!
Stay beautiful, beauty queens!

Incredible Eye Shadows for only $2!
As you probably know I am always on the hunt for new make up and a great deal. Well mark it on the calendar because I have found the best of both as of this month!
You may already know of this brand, but I just found out about them a few months ago and made a good size purchase last month. Morphe Brushes is a brand based out of Burbank California and I found them on Instagram (Follow me here).
Well, I went on their site to check out their brushes because I really need some new blush brushes and shadow brushes, and WOW they are super reasonable and look amazing. Then, I saw that they had eye shadows, so I clicked on that link and I was like, "WHAT, HOLD THE PHONE!" They have individual eye shadows pans for only $2. Sounds like a scam right? Or maybe the quality is horrid.
I did my research and saw that everyone has been raving about them and the quality and pigment is the same as many of the high end shadows out there...if not a bit better.
So what did I do, I bought 15 eye shadows and a Z pallet to put them in! Finally my package came to my office and I immediately opened it and organized all the shadows. I was going away to Keuka Lake for the weekend, but of course I brought my shadows with me to test them out! Wow, I just can't even explain how great these bad boys are. I really wish I would have bought all the colors they had in stock.
These shadows are super pigmented and super easy to blend! I ended up buying mostly purple and taupe color shadows with a few random orange and gold colors. I have used almost all of them so far, and I do't have a bad review about any of the colors I bought and for $2 a pan, how can you go wrong!!!
They have the option to purchase pre filled pallets too which I tend to stay away from. It might be all in my head but when ever I buy pre filled shadows, I feel like they aren't the same as the ones you buy individually, plus I like to make my own pallets!
If you are in the market for some new shadows or you just want to test out some eye shadows and not feel like you are breaking the bank, then head over to Morphe Brushes and pick up a few, or 15!
While you are there check out there brushes. They have a flat contouring brush that could be a great dupe for the ITA brush by NARS! I can't wait to place and order for brushes and more shadows of course!
P.S. Their customer service is awesome too! I called to ask a question and the girls I spoke with were soooo nice and helpful!

I have "Dewey" Skin
I was so excited; yesterday I went into ULTA and ran through the store like a addict trying to find her next fix. Literally, I bet if they have cameras in there their loss prevention department would be like, who the hell is that and what the eff is she doing?! I had shadow swatches all up my arms. I even went in with a list to try and stay focused and on budget, but shit hit the fan when I grabbed a bag. I walked out of there with my heart racing like like I just concurred climbing Mt. Everest. It was sad, I know.

I bought the Matte foundation by NYX, the anti shine primer and the anti-shine setting spray. I was like, "girl, you are about to get your shine under control!" I like to have my personality shine bright like a diamond, but not my skin, if ya know what I mean!
Today I put everything on, I was pumped! here I am sitting at my desk 3:27pm and my face look like I just put oil all over it. I am not kidding you! I noticed right after I put on this foundation that I did not look matte. I knew it would be down hill from there.
I think I am beyond trying to pass as the "dewy" look. I seriously look like I just rubbed oil on my face.
I am in no way knocking on the NYX products. I LOVE that line. I had a full on 20 min conversation with a random shopper in Wegmans raving about everything, but their anti shine line is just not cutting it for me!
So far, my fav combination of products for my skin are Maybelline matte mouse foundation with Porefessional as a primer and NO setting spray, or Becca Complexion Cream with professional primer applied with a beauty blender.
I am on the hunt for the perfect blend of products!!! My next foundation to try is going to be the Givenchy

Full, Flirty Lashes!
I ran out of my favorite mascara, Dior Iconic Curl and since I am on a budget right now I haven't picked a new one up. At $30 a pop it's hard to keep up with since I use a ton of mascara, like i go through one ever 1 to 1.5 months! I should use false lashes, but I just don't.
I have been using mascaras that I have stocked up on and the one that I have found to be my new fav is by Elizabeth Mott and its called It's So Big. I got this mascara in my Ipsy bag one month and I never used it. I am seriously now obsessed with it. The brush has an hourglass shape and a lot of bristles on it. At first I didn't think it was anything spectacular, but the more and more I used it, the more an more i feel in love with it.
It gives me great volume and length. My lashes have not been clumpy at all with it and the color is super black! I layer and layer this mascara on and it just gets better and better! I am seriously in love with it right now! It's also $10 cheaper then my Dior mascara, $19!

L.A. Girl Gladzed Lip Paint!
I found a dupe for Too Faced Melted Lipsticks! When Too Faced came out with these lips products I was so happy because I love the OCC Lip Tars, but they dry out my lips and feather pretty bad. I love the idea of a highly pigmented lip gloss type of product, and that is exactly what the melted lips sticks are!
Welllllll, I went to Sephora and tried one on and of course fell in love with them and the packaging, but I just couldn't spend $21 on one lip product. I am really trying to cut back. So, I walked around with my hot pink lips and debated if I should splurge or wait until I can really make the purchase. So I put them back and walked out of the store (almost crying).
Well they other day I was on instagram (follow me @bthebeauty1) and I saw something posted on L.A. Girl Cosmetics. I went to their site and I was looking at their products and then all of a sudden I saw Gladzed Lip Paints that looked JUST like the Too Faced products! The packaging was very similar with the colored tube and the gold top. Then I looked at the price and get this, they were only $4 EACH!!!!!!!!!! So I did what any make up junkie would do, bought all five of the available colors!
I just got them in the mail today and these things are SOOOOOOO similar to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. I can't say excatly because I only tied on the Too Faced one on in Sephora, but I mean, these are a dead ringer! The packaging is very similar except the Too Faced packaging has a sponge like applicator which I prefer better! The colors of the L.A. Girl paints are just as thick and pigmented as Too Faced.
Below are my Swatches:

I am very happy with these so far. I believe they all have peppermint in them right now so they will have a "lip plumping" effect to them, but it isn't anything too crazy! It feels good!!

Prime Time!
I have been on the hunt for a great primer to use that will help keep my face matte through out the day. I have tired a few, but haven't found one that actually worked, or that I liked.
The first one I tired was Becca Ever-Matte Pore less Primer. I am a big Becca fan, so I was excited to try this. The constancy of this primer is thick and a bit sticky. I used it a while back and I remember not liking it, but I couldn't remember why. When I put the primer on I immediately noticed how sticky it felt on my face. I was pretty taken back by that, but I kept applying and shortly after I put it on, the tackiness went away. The thing to remember when applying this primer is, do not rub it on your face. You have to press it into your skin. If you using wiping motions, or rubbing motions, shortly after you apply your foundation you will see your make up start to pill and get blotchy. I made that mistake and all around my noise I looked like I had little dots everywhere and when I tried to blend it out it just got worse!
I currently use Porefessional my Benefit cosmetics, but since I am almost out, I got a few samples of mattifing primers.

Once I was done applying my foundation and I set my concealer and foundation with a MAC powder, I went to work and waited to see if the primer made a difference. I did notice that after an 8 hour work day my face wasn't as oily as before, BUT what I didn't like is if I touched my face, my make up would move around and leave weird marks. The other thing I noticed was something that happened the following day. I washed my face at night and did my normal face routine, but the next day I woke up with SO MUCH oil on my face. I don't know if that was coincidental, but it was the weirdest thing!
Over all I was pretty happy with the longevity of the primer and the wearability. It will take some getting used to when applying. I want to make sure iI apply it right so I can forgo any pilling of foundation, but I also don't have a lot of time in the morning so I tend to just slop on my primer and move fast. I will have to slow down until I get the hang of this primer.
I would recommend trying this one out of you have oily skin. Its $36 for a good size bottle, which will last at least 3 months, probably longer because you only use a little bit.
The 2nd primer i tried was the Mister Mat by Givenchy and all I have to say is, i didn't like it....at all. It has a silky constancy, which to me felt like oil. It reminded me of a primer that someone who has dry skin would really like. I put this on and it did nothing. My face was still oily, I didn't see a difference and I was just so disappointed. The Givenchy primer is the same cost as the Becca one, but it is only .8oz vs. .35!
I have nothing more to say about this because I did not like it at all.
I will keep testing out the Becca primer, but once I run out of my sample, if I haven't perfected using it, I probably will go back to my Professional Primer....which I love, love, love!

Be The Beauty On A Budget: BH Cosmetics
I love all make up, drug store and high end! Of course I feel super fancy when I say I have a Dior lipstick or I wear Dolce and Gabbana Foundation, but the reality is, I'm balling on a budget and I can't have too many "High End" products....but then how do I get my make up fix?!
There are sooo many great products out there that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on! First off, I am a big drug store make up fan and you can really hit the jackpot on sales and coupons! The other day I stopped a lady in Wegmans who was looking at the NYX section (it's new to Wegmans) and I just gushed on how amazing it was and affordable. I went on and on and on. My boyfriend was like, "um you said we were just coming in for beer and I find you in the make up isle making a friend" What can I say, it's a gift and a curse!
When it comes to eye shadows I have never been one to wear neutrals too much. For the longest time I wore the color "Fishnet" but urban decay every day! But a lot of times I don't have the money to spend on $50 pallets or $20 single shadows.
Enter BH Cosmetics. BH cosmetics is a brand that sells great products with great pigment for a ridiculously cheap price. Since I don't wear many neutrals I never owned a erown eye shadow until about a year ago. I wanted to go out and buy so many brown shadows from MAC, Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown, but I would have went broke. I went to BHcosmetics.com and went crazy and spent a quarter of what I would have spent in Sephora and got A TON OF SHADOWS!
BH has an amazing 28 Shadow Neutral Eye Palette. It has every color that you would like and it is mostly matte shadows. It is super hard to find matte shadow palette, especially with this many colors. It is only $18.95 and you get 28 full sized shadows!
They also came out with BRAND NEW pallet called Eyes On The 70's. It's a great mix of bright colors for summer with some smokey colors to help turn your day time looks into night time looks. This palette is only $9.95!
They are also having a killer brush sale for 70% off brushes! I strongly recommend their 10 pc. Eco Brush Set for only $10.95.
Go visit their page and take a look at what they have and if you buy anything let me know what you think about their products!

Mind Your Line!
Every since I saw the new Benefit Eyeliner that is coming out, I have been obsessed with trying a new kind. I ran out of my Lorac liquid liner that i was using so I stopped at sephora, real quick and I mean REAL QUICK, and picked up one of their Classic Line 24HR Felt Eyeliner.
They released this liner back in February/March, I think. I remember it being there right before I stopped working there and I wanted to get one so bad, but we were out of stock for like 3 or 4 weeks!

Like I mentioned before, I am hooked on a liquid liner, it's easier for me to use, but I want the finish to be matte. I have used a lot of liquid liners and some of them are so shinny it looks like I have patent leather on my lid. I was pleased to see that this is a pretty matte liner! It's only $14 also, that's a plus! The pigment is great, it's very black, which I love! The only thing that took time for me to get used to what the actually tip of the liner. It is a felt tip, but it is very long so it took me a few tries to get used to it. I can get a nice sharp cat eye with this liner. It also is easy to correct if if you get a little crazy like I do sometimes and my line looks like my nephews' sketch book!! You can also get reallllllly close to the lash line, so if you hate tight-lining the inner water liner of your upper lid, this is perfect. Just drag it super close to your lashes and you will have the no-liner-liner-look.
One last thing! It didn't make my lash line burn! MAC Boot Black liquid liner always burned when I put it on, and the Lorac one did, sometimes, not as offer as the MAC one, but this one has been great so far!
Go get one for yourself and test it out!!!!
They released this liner back in February/March, I think. I remember it being there right before I stopped working there and I wanted to get one so bad, but we were out of stock for like 3 or 4 weeks!

Smudge Proof Matte Eye Liner
I am so excited about this!!!! Benefit Cosmetics, one my of fav brands is coming out with a new eye liner. it is called They're real! Push-Up Liner! I am not sure if you have ever used the "They're Real Mascara," it's one of my favs, so I can only imagine how much I will love this.
This eye liner is supposed to be like a gel linger in a pen form! That is amazing because gel liners dry matte and 99.9% of the time never budge! I love using a liquid liner, I do a cat eye liner every day so I need precision. I loved Gel liners for the mattness, but I hated applying my liner with a brush. I want something fast and easy, and to me, a pen is the easiest!
They're Real Push Up liner is my favorite things packed into one, easy to apply pen! A matte, smudge proof liner that will give me a perfect cat eye!
I cannot wait to test this product out! I will be waiting in line to buy it! I hear itwill be released next month, June 2014, but I don't know the exact date. I will keep you posted!
Stay Beautiful!

To All the Mothers Out There

Since mother's are so busy taking care of their children and the other responsibilities of being a mom, sometimes you forget about taking care of yourself. Today, I ask, that you take the time to do something to make yourself feel good. No matter if it's taking the time to get a mani and pedi, or getting that lipstick you have been dying to try, or maybe even, just taking the time to go to Starbucks and sit in peace and quite for a few hours. GO DO IT! You deserve it! To continue to be the best mother you can be, you have to take care of yourself and be the best YOU, you can be! Your kids won't be mad, don't feel guilty, the most you love yourself, the more you are teaching your kids and family to love themselves and be happy!
If you know me, drop your kids off to me, bring some juice and snacks, all I have is beer, water and chicken in my fridge, but drop them off and go have a day to yourself!!!!!
I grew up with the most amazing mother and she taught me self respect, worth and love. With that, I grew up knowing, no matter what, I was always beautiful inside and out and I could take over the world if I wanted to. I couldn't have asked for a better mother! I love you so much BAN (Bad Ass Nance)!!!!
Not only did learn how important it was to make myself happy and love myself, but I also got my love for beauty products and skincare from her! At nine years old, my mom was dying my hair and all of my friends that spend the night. My girl friends went home with different color hair and lets just say....It took a while before they were allowed to spend the night again:) I wouldn't have changed it for the world!
Happy Mother's day to my best mom out there, and to every mother out there! You kids love you no matter what!

Be The Beauty On a Budget Tip
Hey Beauty Queens!
I have been MIA for the past week! I have been trying a lot of different products and I am trying to get some things lined up to post about.
But, in the mean time, I scored a Coupon for Ulta, which I never really shop in there every since I worked at Sephora, but it is right up the street for my work so I went over real fast on my lunch break. Seriously, I don't know why I don't go in there more often. I love it! It's the best of both worlds. High end on one side and drug store on the other and they have a killer clearance section(s)!

Well, I went in to get a travel bag to store make up and toiletries in for the gym. I need to work out desperately and I figured if I had a cute bag to put all my toiletries and make up in, that would make me work out in the morning more often...I mean that is TOTALLY logical right? (I haven't been yet).
Any who, I digress! The reason for this post is because Ulta is having a HUGE SALE on Maybelline, Revlon, Jane and Physicians Formula Make up! Everything is 40% off!!!!!! I literally stopped dead in my tracks. Any time I see a sale on make up I buy something...It's the best time to try stuff that you would never use just to see how it works, or buy that product that you don't really need, but have been wanting to test it out!
I got a few items, one of which is the Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse foundation....review to come soon....lets just say... I am kinnnddaaaaa love it!!
Hurry and go to Ulta! You can shop online too and don't forget to use the $3.50 coupon that is available too!

What you need for perfect make up!
A lot of people ask me, "what is the trick to get flawless looking skin and make up?" There are a ton of different trips and tricks, but one thing that is a must have are GREAT MAKE UP BRUSHES!
I used to think that you had to spend big money to get a quality brushes, but over the past few years, I caught myself bargain shopping and finding amazing brushes for a fraction of the price as the ones you buy in Sephora, or at the MAC counter. Now, I AM NOT knocking any of those brushes, I own many of them!! BUT, sometimes you need to find the best bang for you buck! Enter Crown Brush.

I found Crown Brush on Hatuelook and at first I was skeptical because of how reasonable the brushes were and the fact that they were always on Hautelook. I caved and I bought some brushes; ever since then, I have been obsessed. More than half of my brush collection is from Crown Brush.
What you need to know is, many of these brush brands do private labeling. They go to a vendor who will supply the brush and then put their logo on it and then the brand will turn around and sell the brushes for triple the price. This is what Crown Brush does for many companies, but they also sell their brushes with out any labels at a STEAL of a price. Many of these brushes are the exact same brush you are paying triple the money for!
My favorite collection of brushes from Crown Brush is their Infinity Set. These brushes are great for liquids, creams and bronzers! I use the domed kabuki brush for my foundation. My face looks flawless when I use this brush. Apply a little bit of foundation on your skin and then buff it in, and will have soft, beautiful skin.
The 10 piece set of brushes is currently on Hatuelook for only $30! That is the prices you would pay for ONE foundation brush, maybe even more.
They also have a "Syntho" Set that is to die for! Great for creams! Their duo fiber brush are great and blend everything soooo perfectly! Both sets of brushes come with great cases that can double as a brush holder, SCORE!
A few other brushes you might want to check out is the small chiseled brush, great for applying powder under the eyes, and the small tapered duo fiber brush, awesome for contouring with creams and applying highlighter on the cheek bones.
If you are looking for great tools to use, at a reasonable price, definitely check out Crown Brushes, and go to Hautelook before tomorrow at 8am PST and get your self a set! You will be super happy you did!

Lushing Life!
Today, my sister and I did a mini shopping spree, aka "Treat Yo Self" day! If you watch Parks and Rec. you will know what I am talking about! We had the best day and I finally got to check out some Lush products!
I hear everyone raving about their masks, soaps and lotions, so I have been wanting see what the rage is all about. A little background information- Lush is a line of skin care, hair care and cosmetics line that creates all natural products, many of which are vegan and they are cruelty free. Aside from their obvious awesomeness, their products smell amazing, and they have very simple packaging that is made from 100% recycled products, which I think areTHE SHIT! I know its super simple black bottles and jars with white font, but I think its brings a bit of edginess to this very simple line of products. The first American Lush store opened in 2003 and now their are over 150 stores!
Fun Fact: when you buy each product there is a little sticker on the side that shows you when and WHO made it! It's pretty awesome.
We were quickly greeted by Danielle, who encourage my sister and I to sit down and learn about the products in a mini spa like session. The minute she put the first product on us, we were obsessed! She gave us a brief run down of everything and I then I pulled a "Lucin" and became totally distracted by all the products and interrupted her and told her what I was looking for. I was so happy to see that Lush had a product for everything that I was describing and have been wanting so badly, but could never find!
Welcome product# 1-The Skin Coniditoner-Ro's Aragan Body Condition:

To make my skin extra buttery soft, I bought some shower gel.
Introduce Product #2-The Olive Branch Shower Gel

This shower gel smells amazing! It has organic olive oil, tons of antioxidants, mandarin juice, and vine leaves. This shower gel is amazing for dry cracked skin..ideal for this never ending winter we have been having this year! I can't wait to lather up with this in the AM!
I also get really bad dry scalp and as embarrassing as that is, I am super excited I said something to Danielle. Apparently, the owner of Lush is a trichologist aka, someone who studies hair and the scalp. This is great because I have yet to find something that will take care of my super dry scalp with out having crazy side effects!
Time to meet Product #3 and #4- The Squeaky Green shampoo bar and the Superbalm Scalp Treatment.
Squeaky green is not your average shampoo. It's in bar form, so there is no liquid here! It;s a great product for oily or really itchy, flakey scalps. There is rosemary, peppermint and tea tree (my fav) that will help treat the dry and flaky scalp. Then the ingredients such as chamomile
and vanilla will calm the itchiness or irritation. I was sold on this product once I heard all of that, but then Danielle told me that this will last about 50 washes!!!! That is more then my current shampoo which only lasts about 2 weeks (14 to 16 washes)!

Then to give m scalp the extra TLC it needs, I picked up the Superbalm to massage onto my scalp. The main ingredients are coconut oil, candella wax and Salicylic Acid. These three will banish any sort of dry flakey scalp you may have.
I am so excited to try all this stuff and put it to the test! I will be sure to post a update on how the products are. If you haven't done so already, check out Lush at Eastview Mall and be sure to ask for Danielle, she was the best! #treatyoself

This is a rose scented shower lotion. I was a bit apprehensive about the rose scent because it can be over powering to me, but I was happily proved wrong. I told Danielle that I need a good moisturizer to use, but I HATE putting lotion on after the shower. The body conditioner was exactly what I have been looking for. You slather on this lotion in the shower after you use body wash, then you then rinse it off before you get out and pat yourself dry and your skin is left feeling baby soft and smelling amazing!
To make my skin extra buttery soft, I bought some shower gel.

Foundation I Can't Get Enough Of
I have very oily skin. It's gross. I want to be matte. I am jealous of girls with dry skin.
I would go into work at Sephora and people would come up to me and be like, "Oh, I want to get the dewey look like you have!" Oh, Really?! Well this is pure oil oozing from my pores and I want to be matte!
I have used several different foundations to try and keep my skin matte. Everything from drug store to high end. I have used mattifiers and everything else under the sun! I have learned to embrace my oils, but that doesn't mean that I still don't look for a foundation or setting powder that will help me stay matte.
I used to use Matte Velvet my Make Up Forever and I was very happy with the product. I didn't find a perfect match color wise, but I do really like it and the price is pretty on point.
Recently, Becca, came out with a foundation called Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme. I took a sample to test out and I am really really really pleased with this foundation! It took me a few tried to find the perfect color, but there are 20 shades so I knew I would find a color I was happy with eventually. Becca also has a matte foundation, but that didn't work for me. It would pill up on my face and I would get all these little dots everywhere. I wore it a few times and just gave up on it, so I was kind of hesitant to try this their UCCC, but when I saw how good it went on my clients, I knew I had to try it.
Ultimate Coverage Comlextion Cream foundation is for all skin types. It is super pigmented so it gives your a full coverage look with out the cakeyness or dryness that some full coverage foundations do. It also has over 20% water, so your skill will stay nice and hydrated when you wear this product. If you feel like you get red, or have dark spots on your face, UCCC helps with hyper pigmentation so not only will it cover these spots, but they will fade form it over time!!! I am happy to say that this foundation keeps me matte for longer then any foundation made specifically for oily skin. It makes my skin look flawless. Sometimes I notice when foundations sit in my pores on my nose and it bothers the Hell out of me! This has yet to do that.
I think the best way to apply this foundation, for me, is with a damp beauty blender. I used my round kabuki brush to buff it into my skin, but it didn't sit right ton my face. Also the primer that works best with it, for me, is the Benefit Porefessional. Next time you get a chance go to Sephora and pick up a sample and tell me what you think!

Alert! The Balm Cosmetics on Hautelook!
If you haven't tried something from The Balm Cosmetics already, you need to head over to Hautelook and start shopping!
I first heard of this line through another beauty blogger and became obsessed with their Mary Lou-Manizer highlighter and their Bahama Mamma Bronzer. I am always on the hunt for a good bronzer that is matte, teh perfect brown and something that doesn't break down from my oily skin after a few hours. Bahamma Mamma is perfect for contouring the face, or applying, lightly, because it is very pigmented, as an all over color to give you a sun kissed look.

Mary Lou-Manizer is to die for also! With a name like Mary Lou-Manizer, how could you not want to buy it! Beyond the great name, it also has amazing qualities. It is a really great light goldish bronzer. It pairs really well with a neutral face or anything with pink undertones to it. This high lighter catches the light just right and gives you that extra pop on your face to give your skin more dimension and lift!
The Balm eye shadows are super pigmented also! They have a great option of palettes. The Balm Voyage is great if you are looking for something with fun colors that will give you a lot of looks. If you want something all nude to create more natural or subtle looks, then get their Nude'Tude Palette. Meet Matte Nude is one of the few all matte color palettes out there, so grab this one to pair with any palette you currently have, or to just wear on their own.
Trust me, you will be very happy with the products and the price of this line! So, get shopping and let me know what you end up buying!
